To all the complaining people:

If you have javascript disabled, it won’t round the corners, or work correctly for that matter.

To the Author:

These aren’t ‘css speech bubbles’ if you are relying on javascript. ‘css speech bubbles coded in strict XHTML 1.0′ would equate to ONLY using XHTML 1.0 and CSS to achieve the affect.

Should this very comment Im leaving be in a rounded corner bubble as well? If so, its not. Its showing up in a white square box.

John  on February 11th, 2007

I thought they were supposed to be rounded corners as well but from the picture at the beginning of the article, the blue and black bubbles are rounded and this one is squared. I like the rounded much better.

Thanks for everyones comments and feedback, your issues have been noted and i’ll get around to fixing them soon.

Alot of people have mentioned ‘I don’t see no bleedin rounded corners you cheat!’. I just happened to use the square design for my blog, take a look at the demo for the rounded ones.

Scott  on February 11th, 2007

Why do you javascript to do something that is so simple to do the proper way?

And the rounded corner thing is just awful. Just use graphics, not an ass load of divs. While it validates, that is not the proper use of css/xhtml.
